Economy Minister, Sultan bin Saeed Al-Mansouri, has underscored the important role being played by the Abu Dhabi-based Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) in the preparation and production of guidebook for categories of economic activities in the UAE.
The minister made the statement during a reception held here by his ministry to launch the guidebook during which the Minister also honoured the ZonesCorp with a plaque and a certificate of merit, which were received on behalf of the ZonesCorp by the latter’s Executive Director for Financial Affairs, Saeed Isa Al-Khuyaili. The prize was in recognition of the ZonesCorp’s positive steps in ensuring the successful preparation and mobilisation of resources and capacities to produce the guidebook.
Receiving the prize, Al-Khuyaili expressed his outfit’s profound gratitude to the economy ministry and the minister for the honour. He said the ministry continued to provide all forms of support for the investment sector, in general and the industrial investment sector, in particular. He cited the minister’s great efforts to surmount all obstacles to create a conducive climate for the flourishing of advanced industries.
He described the prize as a badge of honour for all employees of the ZonesCorp and dedicated it to the Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also the ZonesCorp Chairman and all ZonesCorp board members for their great efforts in pulling the wheel of the ZonesCorp forward.
